The rarity of architecture like this makes Nasir al-Mulk all the more precious.

Though Masjid al-Aqsa in Jerusalem and Istanbul's Blue Mosque both feature stained glass windows, on the whole they are fairly uncommon in mosque architecture.

The multitude of stained glass windows turn the inside of the mosque into a riotous wonderland of color that is absolutely breathtaking.
The minute I heard my first love story, I started looking for you, not knowing how blind that was. Lovers don't finally meet somewhere. They're in each other all along.

Rumi
The gifts of lovers to one another are, in respect to love, nothing but forms; yet, they testify to invisible love.

It's also known as the "Pink Mosque" for the rose-colored tiles that cover the interior

Even if you are the world’s least religious person, you might feel your hands coming together in prayer naturally when you see the brilliance of this light. Perhaps the builders of this mosque wanted to show their “faith” through the morning light shining through this stained glass.
Oh, bird of my soul, fly away now, For I possess a hundred fortified towers.

Your depression is connected to your insolence and refusal to praise.

Another part of this mosque that attract most of photographers to take photos,is the harmony of using the columns inside it and this element, inspired from Jam-e mosque of Shiraz.
I fear God and next to God I mostly fear them that fear him not.

Sunlight fell upon the wall; the wall received a borrowed splendor. Why set your heart on a piece of earth, O simple one? Seek out the source which shines forever.

Nasir al-Mulk 'Pink Mosque'

A Mixture of Architecture and Art in Nasīr al-Mulk Mosque in Shiraz it Is Like Stepping Into A Kaleidoscope !
From the outside, the Nasir al-Mulk Mosque in Shiraz, Iran, seems like a fairly traditional house of worship -- but it's hiding a gorgeously colorful secret.
The mosque includes extensive colored glass in its facade, and displays other traditional elements such as the Panj Kāse ("five concaved") design. It is named in popular culture as the Pink Mosque, due to the usage of considerable pink color tiles for its interior design

This mosque is a beautiful rainbow for those who wake up from the early morning!

History
The mosque was built during the Qajar era, and is still in use under protection by Endowment Foundation of Nasir ol Molk. It was built from 1876 to 1888, by the order of Mirzā Hasan Ali (Nasir ol Molk), a Qajar ruler. The designers were Mohammad Hasan-e-Memār, an Iranian architect, and Mohammad Rezā Kāshi-Sāz-e-Širāzi.
