Badab Surt Springs; This is where All the Colors Come from
Among the quiet mountains of Alborz, somewhere in the south of city of Sari, near the Orost village, there are colorful springs located at 1841 meters above sea level that are called the steppe springs of Badab Surt. In regional language, Badab means gassed water and Surt means intensity. These steppe springs, which are unique in the world, are made up of two main springs, which have completely different colors, smells, tastes and capacities. The first spring contains very salty water that gathers in a small natural pool; its water is considered to have medicinal properties, especially as a cure for rheumatism and some types of skin diseases and skin conditions. The second spring has a sour taste and is predominately orange mainly due to the large iron oxide sediments at its outlet. Beautiful spaces near the springs covered with wild brunette, beautiful and magical nights, magnificent scenery and ... duplicate the beauties of these springs.
