Alimastan Dream Forest

When talking about dreams, extreme beauty and pleasure, we should mention Alimistan forest in Amol city. The forest, named after an herb called "Alima", is famous as ‘the green gold of Iran’. This forest is from Tehran at km 140 and from Amol in km 20 of the Haraz road and in a village with the same name. In fact, the Alimastan forest is a way to reach the place where the Caspian Sea and the Mount Damavand are shining. Clean weather, the landscape of Damavand Peak on the whole path, beautiful plains, misty forests, abundant springs, exceptional horses, towering trees and other beauties enchant you in this forest. This forest also has another wonder. Near the peak, you will see two large holes that they are footprints of two meteorites, but the locals believe that these two holes are footprints of Rustam’s knees, and kneeling when he wanted to drink from sea water and these two holes were created.
